The nearby village of Abbotsbury (5 miles) is home to both Abbotsbury Swannery and Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens. Other coastal villages and towns within easy reach include Burton Bradstock (4 miles), Charmouth (13 miles) and Lyme Regis (16 miles), and, heading inland, Dorchester (14.5 miles) which is renowned for its links with Thomas Hardy. Local attractions include Mapperton House and Gardens (12 miles), the Kingston Russell Stone Circle (7 miles) and Coney’s Castle (14 miles).
A couple of steps lead up to the large enclosed porch where you can leave coats and boots, leading into the tiled hall and through to the pretty lounge.
