With onsite leisure facilities for all ages, the property is also conveniently located just a short stroll from the village amenities and Charmouth beach. Also nearby is the wonderful town of Lyme Regis, which offers a beautiful unspoilt seafront with sheltered south-facing beaches and traditional deckchairs that line the promenade in the summer. The Jurassic coastline has been designated as England's first Natural World Heritage Site and spans nearly one hundred miles of the Dorset and East Devon coastline. There are many attractions in the area including the charming resorts of Beer, Branscombe and numerous National Trust properties and gardens to name but a few.
On entering this pleasant single-level accommodation, which can be accessed via a wheelchair-friendly ramp, you will find yourself in the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With high ceilings and exposed beams, this room is a lovely bright space with French doors opening out to the patio. The lounge area is ideal for relaxing in where you can watch the TV/DVD, or enjoy meals around the large dining table. The attractive kitchen area is fully equipped with an integrated oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Exploring further you will find a useful utility room with a washer/dryer and a WC. The property offers two bedrooms, the first is a comfy king-size room with a TV and has French doors opening on to a small private, enclosed gravelled courtyard area. This room also has an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and WC. There is also a twin room with zip-and-link beds that can be made up as a super king-size bed upon prior request, as well as an en-suite wet room and WC.
Heading outside, you can relax in the small private patio area at the front of the property which has garden furniture, ideal for al fresco drinks or meals. Please note there is a small step up leading in to the patio area. Guests are invited to enjoy the neighbouring holiday park which includes a shared, covered outdoor heated swimming pool (available during specific dates only and not available all year, please refer to the 'need to know' section for details), Char Valley Café which serves speciality teas and coffees and a shared outdoor children's play area. For a reduced charge and available to adults, is the well-equipped Char Valley Health Club, including a gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room.
Due to the current situation with Covid-19 the shared facilities (swimming pool, Health Club, Cafe, children’s play area) at this property will be unavailable during the remainder of 2020 and a 10% discount will be applied at the time of booking.
