The nearby market town of Blandford Forum is located beside the River Stour and has a good range of amenities as well as lovely walks through the water meadows. The traditional seaside towns of Bournemouth, Poole, Swanage and Weymouth are all within reach and are ideal for those seeking a sandy beach. Plan a family day out to The Tank Museum, Monkey World or the dramatic ruins of Corfe Castle, which are cared for by the National Trust.

A gated shared driveway gives access to this detached single-storey property, which sits adjacent to the owners’ home and similar properties within this exclusive complex. A private entrance door leads directly into the striking open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with seating and a TV. This light and bright room is cleverly designed to create comfortable areas for both relaxing and dining. The contemporary galley kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. Heading across the open-plan living space will take you to the bedrooms. The first is a cosy twin and the second an inviting double. The bedrooms share the stylish shower room, which has a shower and WC.

Heading outside via the double entrance doors, you will find a fabulous terrace boasting a hot tub and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. There is a picnic bench for al fresco dining and a charcoal BBQ. Younger guests will enjoy the shared outdoor play area within the lawned grounds.

The lodge was absolutely perfect. We could not have asked for a better stay for our girls trip. The hot tub had beautiful views and was lovely and hot. The lodge itself was spotless and had modern fixtures and a fabulous living area. We will all be back.

I can not fault this beautiful accommodation enough. From the moment we arrived we loved it. We done two nights at lodge 4. We found the lodge very clean and comfortable and very well equipped to make food there during our stay. The hot tub was lovely and the childrens park opposite was a great addition making it family friendly. Lulworth cove and Read moreDurdle door were only a short drive. I have had a lot of people message asking for the location of the estate and how to book. Hide

Located just outside Blandford Forum, this was a lovely quiet place we stayed at. Property was big enough for me, my wife and our dog and there was a nice decking area with a hot tub. Facilities inside were great with all the necessities a family would need including a good kitchen area to cook at. The location was ideal for us as we planned our stRead moreay around visiting Lulworth Cove which was a 28 min drive away. Hide

A beautiful place to escape away to and felt very safe. Not many places near by for food so next time would definitely just buy things to cook there. But overall a lovely stay.
