There are coastal walks aplenty nearby and a thriving steam railway line that runs from the heart of Swanage to the picturesque village of Corfe Castle, which is home to castle ruins cared for by the National Trust. Durlston Country Park is also well worth a visit and offers fabulous views over the bay.
