With contemporary decor, picturesque village surroundings and castle ruins to admire, this detached stone-built property is a great choice for a family holiday with easy access to the coast.

The charming village of Corfe Castle sits below the much-photographed castle ruins cared for by the National Trust. The village is well serviced with local amenities and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, including the ancient Corfe Castle Common. Miles of footpaths are easily accessible via nearby Red Lane or take the steam train from the village station to the traditional seaside town of Swanage where you can enjoy the sandy beach and amusements on offer. The property is conveniently located near the A351 which leads to Swanage from Corfe Castle. Heading north from the property takes you to the unspoilt beaches of Studland Bay. For a fun-filled day out, visit the ever-popular Tank Museum or Monkey World ape rescue centre.

Three external steps give access to this detached stone-built property, which is conveniently set alongside the main road through the village. Once inside you are met with an open-plan kitchen/diner, which is well-equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Leading on from here to the right are two double bedrooms and a set of steep ladder-style stairs rising to the first floor. Set within the eaves is a cosy twin bedroom and a separate WC. Due to its location, there are some areas of restricted head height within this room. Once back on the ground floor, there is a step down into the inner hallway, which leads to the contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Completing the accommodation is a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV.

French doors open from the dining area into the rear garden. This area is set across multiple levels with a patio area, furniture and raised borders. To the side and front of the property are two off-road parking spaces.

Potters Barn is beautiful, the ground floor bedrooms are so light and sunny. Its spotlessly clean, plenty of equipment if you need to cook. The beds are super comfy too. The location is great too, just a 10 minute walk to the village centre. A perfect little retreat.

Fantastic property, high spec and lovely decor. Corfe Castle and surrounding areas are just beautiful at Christmas. Cottage is in great location for walking into Corfe Castle and local shops and pubs. Also good for access to Studland, Swanage and Lulworth Cove. Kimmeridge Bay is a hidden treasure if you like peace and quiet. Main road runs straight past property and can get very busy with queues of traffic at certain times of day.

Excellent cottage, with parking and only 5 mins walk into the village of Corfe Castle. We were extremely lucky with the weather so were able to enjoy the private garden at the back and the wonderful surrounding area either by car or on the local buses which ran from outside the cottage. Would definitely go back here and recommend to friends.
