A stunning natural bay, the cove provides dreamy summer scenes and impressive winter walks. For something to eat, a country inn is located just over 1 mile away from the property.

Tucked along a quiet lane, the property is located in the owner’s grounds. Affording space, privacy and plenty of little luxuries, it proffers an idyllic break from everyday life. Stepping inside through the French patio doors, the open-plan living area is a welcome sight. Sporting an open-plan design, the room brilliantly packages everything you could need into one well-thought-out space. With a generously-sized sofa and armchair, along with a TV and VCR, you can rest in your private bubble after a long day of exploring. Behind the lounge is the kitchen and dining area. Here, the owners have thought of everything and equipped the kitchen with an oven and hob, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is even a dishwasher and washing machine too. Treat yourselves to a romantic evening in and come together around the dining table, sharing anecdotes and a drop or two of vino. Also downstairs is the property’s bathroom, including a walk-in shower, sink and WC. Heading upstairs you will come to the fabulous bedroom. Taking up the whole floor, the bedroom boasts lots of space, proudly showing off old, exposed beams and feature walls. With slightly reduced head height in certain areas, the bedroom has a rustic charm embraced by comfort. Home to a 5ft double bed, TV and selection of books, you will feel right at home.

Outside, you can drink in the sunshine with your morning on the terrace and admire the views of the surrounding fields.

Lovely quaint little cottage. Very clean and well equipped. We were surprised how warm it was inside, which was very welcome on the couple of rainy days we had! Fabulous location and being able to park so close was a bonus when loading/unloading the car. The bedroom was massive and the bed super comfy. I only gave it 4 stars for value for money as Read moreit was quite a bit more expensive than other places weve stayed which were of similar quality but cheaper. Great place for nature lovers though! An avenue of lime trees, a large paddock, the cottage beautifully styled and appointed, peace, freedom and privacy for our dog and us alike we wanted for nothing. We were made welcome by the lovely resident dog, and by charming house sitters who recommended beaches and places to eat. The path to bronze age tumuli the five Marys, directly from the Read morehouse, is an easy evening stroll. Clouds Hill and Hardy's birthplace are short drives away, as is the superb Salt Pig shop/eatery at Wareham. Hide

A great cottage, in a peaceful location.Our dogs enjoyed running in the meadow and the avenue of tree's.Nice walks from the cottage around the village area. Easy drive to sea and other villages. We would return again !

Lime Trees Cottage was very comfortable and a beautiful setting for us to relax and enjoy the stunning Dorset countryside. We had a very nice holiday at this cottage (apart from the weather). The meadow was an added bonus. The owners are really accommodating if you require anything and the cottage has been very well equipped.

If you are going to cook the facilities are limited. The grounds were greatly appreciated by our dog who enjoyed her morning and evening runs. The view with the avenue of trees was lovely, but it was very shaded and cool if you wanted to sit on the patio.

Great location, use local bus, great for visits to Lulworth cove, durdle door etc. Do all the local walks, pop in local church, garden volunteers very friendly even got a cup of tea! Try the countryman Inn for great lunch, it is walkable, about 35 mins from cottage

A lovely little cottage in a good location. It is lovely and clean ,well equipped with a very comfortable bed. Very friendly owners, thanks for the delicious home made flapjack. The village has a little post office and shop which is very handy.

Beautiful location and so quiet. Used the nearby pasture for evening drinks, dinner and then looking at the stars. Watched the farmer ploughing the adjacent field. Everything we needed was to hand. Walked to local pub twice. Great local bus service from near the post office. Used the local shop for basic provisions. Everyone we met was so friendly Read moreand happy to chat. The cottage is very pretty and in a lovely setting. We quickly got used to the toilet being downstairs and although it was very disappointing that the patio area didnt get any sun, we did have access to the sunny meadow a short way down the drive. The 3 closest pubs are all within walking distance and the Village Store is well stocked. Lovely cosy cottage in wonderful location. Owners could not have been any more helpful or friendly. Sailor's Return pub a few minutes drive away does excellent food.

We stayed at the stable with our 2 year old red Labrador, Matilda. She had a ball! She particularly enjoyed running up and down the long drive chasing her ball and the occasional rabbit, as well as bouncing in the wild flower meadow. We loved the remoteness and darkness and sitting out on the patio with a beer and the bats. Easy drive to Lulworth CRead moreove and the car park at Durdle Door. Beautiful location, very peaceful. Lovely cottage, but a shame the outside space wasnt fenced in for the dogs. Outside seating would have been nice if there were comfy chairs, not just 2 hard uncomfortable ones. Well equipped lovely paddock to sit in at night and watch the sunset. Fabulous walks nearby and a v well stocked shop.

It is our second stay so we really do like this cottage and again lived up to our expectations .We hope we will return next year ,it is a long drive from Northumberland ,but was certainly worth it.

The property was very comfortable and peaceful. The location is excellent, coastal walks can be accessed from the property although you need to be reasonably fit, Lulworth Cove can be reached on foot and is less than 5 minutes in the car. Very good place to stay for a week. It is very quiet and dark being situated well outside the village. I like the privacy of the place and the fact you can park right outside the entrance door. Our stay at Lime Tree was so wonderful, we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Fabulous week away, fully equiped accommodation, loved the wine and brownies that were waiting for us on arrival. Our hosts were great, friendly and welcoming. Lovely couple. We were made very welcome by the owners and really enjoyed our stay there over Christmas. Our dogs also had a great time running around the adjoining paddock. The accommodation was well equipped ,very clean and cosy. We would definitely recommend to our friends.

This is charming accommodation in a fantastic location. The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome. It is wonderfully peaceful, and very dark at night - very starry on a clear night. Great base for exploring the surrounding area

Very nice place to stay. Felt very comfortable there. Located a bit off the beaten track but very quiet and private with own parking space directly in front which is very handy. A very good free house pub a short drive away which does excellent food.
