The cottage is set within half a mile of the glorious sandy National Trust beach of Studland Bay which can be reached by footpath or road. The picturesque coastal village of Studland is a perfect base for exploring the Purbeck area, with the vast Studland and Godlingston Heath just a mile away. This is a fantastic area for nature-lovers with Hartland Moor (7 miles) and RSPB Stoborough Heath (8 miles) nearby. You can explore the ruins of Corfe Castle (5.5 miles) or visit the popular Victorian seaside town of Swanage (3.5 miles) with its long sandy beach, traditional promenade, pier and steam railway. You can also catch the Sandbanks Ferry for a shortcut to Poole and Bournemouth or to explore the dramatic and atmospheric Brownsea Island.
On entering this pretty holiday home, which is accessed via two steps, you will find a charming and spacious lounge. This light and tastefully furnished room is perfect for relaxing in, with comfortable seating, TV/DVD, a wood burner and shuttered bay windows. Exploring further, the spacious open-plan kitchen/diner has an additional seating area and a large dining area perfect for enjoying a family meal. The kitchen features a double oven, induction hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a breakfast bar. This area also offers a TV, iPod dock, a window seat and bi-fold doors into the garden. A handy utility room houses the washing machine and dryer and has plenty of space for coats and boots. Exploring further you will find a children’s playroom with TV and a choice of books, games and toys. There is also a ground-floor shower wet room with WC. Going upstairs you will find five cosy bedrooms. There are four double bedrooms, two of which can be made up as twin rooms on request.
