This splendid home is set in the beautiful Studland Heathland and is beautifully arranged and laid out to make the most of the stunning sea views and rural location. Locally, you can take advantage of Studland’s own South Beach, just a mile from the property where sea horses are known to breed, or you can follow one of the extensive Dorset coastal paths to Swanage - Purbeck’s only real resort with its castles and country parks where you can while away the hours.

Enter the property via stone steps up to the front door. Through the hall you will find the double aspect kitchen/dining room which has stunning views of the sea through the large bay window. The sitting room offer similar views through the large picture window, and the room is furnished comfortably and in keeping with the property. The adjoining sunroom offers a perfect spot for appreciating the panoramic views and has access through the French doors onto the glass balcony with seating so you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening tipple. There is a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, and a utility room leading into the rear garden. On the lower ground floor, the property has one twin bedroom with sea views and a shower room; and the first floor has a double and a twin bedroom with an adjoining shower room with reduced ceiling height. The house is furnished and decorated in a contemporary but homely and charming manner and is sure to be a real home away from home during your visit.

The wrap-around gardens have been beautifully landscaped, so they blend seamlessly with the local countryside. The front is mainly laid to lawn and slopes gently down from the property. Clustered around the house are raised beds, trees, seating area and an area developed as a wild flower meadow - a little sanctuary for the insects and butterflies. The rear garden has a terrace, pretty flower beds and parking for three cars.

This home is beautifully furnished with comfy sofas, a great fireplace, lovely open plan kitchen / dining room. It is really well equipped with plenty of wine glasses, extra mugs, tea pots and almost everything you could need in a kitchen. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, the beds are comfortable. The views over the fields and bay from the Read moreliving areas are stunning. Great location for walks along the cliff to Harry's Rocks, the sauna on the local beaches and Swanage Christmas market. We are a walking group of six and the location and house were perfect. You can start walks straight from the property or catch the bus to different location from village. Harry's bar in village excellent, really friendly. Pig restaurant superb. Need a torch if you walk to either during the winter

We are a small group walking our way around the South West Coast Path. We book properties according to where we are walking. Of the properties we have used, all similar in size and facilities, this one comes near the top. The property itself and it's location were perfect for us, with the ratio of bedrooms to bathrooms enabling us, as a non-family Read moregroup, to accommodate different requirements. The house was perfect with stunning views. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was equipped with every possible utensil and saucepan. Loads of crockery and glasses. The decor was lovely and the whole place was very relaxing.

Another wonderful family Christmas spent at Braeside. The property allows space for everyone to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. The location is superb with plenty of invigorating walks.

A very special holiday home in a truly beautiful location. Wonderful views of the coast & countryside. Well equipped, ample parking. Walkers have lots of options right from the door. Stunning beaches within a 10-15 minute walk. We enjoyed walking over the fields and onto the coast path to Old Harry rocks & Swanage, as well as a longer walk to CorfeRead more Castle, returning on the steam train. The no.50 bus is great if you want to explore without driving too. Great pubs/restaurants nearby. Fab! Hide

This accommodation in a beautiful setting was ideal for our family of 8, and ideally located for all the Purbecks have to offer. There is ample parking for 3 cars. It is well equipped for those who wish to eat in. Aspects of cleaning require attention though.

Highly recommend this house. It's even better than the photos! Very spacious, very well equipped and incredible views. We could walk to the nearest pub in 10-15 mins or to the beach. We were a group of friends and all said we'd love to come back with our families.

Braeside is a charming coastal property in a stunning location, and we loved the beach theme in all of the rooms. Much thought had been given to providing a relaxing environment in which to take in the stunning views.
