Part of a complex of three properties, this charming contemporary cottage is the perfect choice for a couple wishing to tour, walk the South West Coast Path, or purely relax.

Within the centre of Charmouth, there is a good range of local amenities nearby, or you can head to the coastline and explore the popular beach that lines the village. Lyme Regis is only 2 miles to the south-west and boasts pretty streets with a range of boutique shops, galleries, cafes and pubs, which draw many visitors for good reason. You can enjoy a day on the water with a boat trip from the historic ‘Cobb’ harbour or relax on the pebbled shore. If a good walk is in order, plan a hike up Golden Cap or along the South West Coast Path for spectacular views. Situated close to the border between Dorset and Devon, this is a great base for touring.

Accessed via a shared gravel drive, a private entrance door gives access into the property. Once inside, you are met with a striking open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. To the right of the space is a contemporary kitchen, which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, Nespresso machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Just opposite is a space to dine in comfort, and an inviting lounge area with a Smart TV. An oak staircase rises from here to the mezzanine style king-size bedroom which has a vaulted ceiling. There is a beautiful compact slipper bath within the room, ideal for one, and a shower cubicle set into an alcove. A door leads into a separate WC.

There is no outdoor space due to the style of the property, however, there is an off-road parking space to the rear of the property approximately 20 metres along a shared drive, and the beach and green spaces are within walking distance.

The cottage is superb, very stylish with top quality furnishings, spotlessly clean and comfortable with the added bonus of having its own parking space at the rear of the property. It's location is perfect, close to the shops, great little pub The Royal Oak (busy, so pre book a table, great food) and just a 10 minute stroll to the beach. Lovely couRead morentryside walks on the doorstep too. Charmouth is very small but lovely and friendly and the perfect base to explore Dorset and Devon. Hide

The cottage was ideal for our needs. It was comfortable, had sufficient cooking equipment for self catering and was located in a very good position to access the village shops, the church, the beach and a number of walks. The welcome pack of cake, milk and bread was very thoughtful and the gin and tonic was a welcome surprise.

We had a great week at 3 Albury. The cottage is well thought through, in a good location with quality equipment and the weather was fantastic. The only issue was the water pressure, the shower wasn't ; it was a dribble ! so baths all week.

We had a lovely sunny few days in this cottage. There was a welcome Royal Oak pub across the road, which cooked delicious meals. Bus stops also nearby that can take you all the way up the coasts. Walking distance to the beach. Cottage had all that we needed, the bed was also very comfortable. This is a lovely, and very well equipped cottage in a perfect location. It's a short walk to the beach. The cottage is comfortable and nicely equipped with great parking. It's quiet and peaceful with lots of lovely little touches. I would highly recommend, and we will be back.

What a great little place, perfectly located for the pub, the beach and the bus stop. The cottage is well appointed with everything thought of, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher. The gift basket was a lovely touch. Comfortable and cosy we had a lovely time for a week with our dog.

Really enjoyed our stay, nice location at the centre of Charmouth with all local amenities close at hand. We didn't walk down to the beach due to an injury but it seemed straight forward, however parking was also fine and not too expensive. The cottage space is decorated nicely and is a cosy little spot set back from the road with parking. All the Read morelittle welcome gifts were a nice touch that we hadn't expected. Hide

A lovely cottage. Very clean with virtually everything you could need. The welcome gift was much appreciated as was the gin and coffee. Easy access to shops, fish and chips and pubs. Beach close by, you could the sea at night. Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable well-equipped property with a lovely comfortable bed. Ideally situated for a short stroll to the beach and extremely handy for the two pubs in the village both serving food and the local shops. I would highly recommend this lovely property . It is cosy and tastefully decorated. It's located in a great place to look around the coastal area . The Royal Oak excellent for good good and is only 50 metres . Lovely property

Lovely cottage ! Comfortable, and in an ideal location for walking down to the beach. Welcoming hosts that provided lots of little welcome amenities that made the holiday very special. Our little dog had a wonderful time. Definitely want to come back!

High standards throughout - furnishings, fittings and equipment.. Very comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Excellent location for the local beach, coastal paths and access to the wider area. A good base for sea-sporters, walkers and chill-outers.
