Eleven miles away, the town of Dorchester makes an interesting place for a day trip and offers a number of unusual and unexpected attractions including a Tutankhamun museum, a teddy bear museum, and a Terracotta Army exhibit. Dorset is home to some of England’s best-loved beaches, including those at Sandbanks, Lulworth Cove, and Weymouth, which are all within twenty miles of the property.
Glass doors at the front of this property open directly into the open-plan studio room, which comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. The dining area is located close to the door to make the most of the light which floods into the room. Beyond this there is a pleasant lounge/bedroom area with a TV/DVD which can be enjoyed from both the comfortable sofa and the double bed. The kitchen area is tucked away in a corner, and although modest in size, offers the equipment that guests will need to prepare their favourite meals with ease, including an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge with ice compartment. There are no laundry facilities in the property, however, guests are able to make use of the owner’s washing machine and tumble dryer if they need to. Just off the living area, there is a wet room with a shower and WC.
Outside, there is a pretty, shingled garden area with table and chairs to the front of the property, which makes a lovely place to sit and relax over drinks. There is space for one car provided.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
