This property is positioned above a local café overlooking Swanage Bay – a lovely sandy beach suitable for paddling, swimming and boating. Enjoy this traditional seaside resort with its ‘Punch and Judy’ shows, amusements and Victorian pier. A dive centre, variety of small interesting shops, restaurants and public houses are all a short walk away. Swanage is also renowned for its steam railway which links this seaside town to the picturesque and historic village of Corfe Castle. For walkers and cyclists, adjacent to the cottage is a coastal path where guests can walk along the promenade and over Ballard Down into Studland with its sand dunes and miles of sandy beach. The walk westwards leads to Durleston and extends onwards along a fabulous stretch of Purbeck coastline passing close to several traditional villages. Worth Matravers provides a pleasant place to stop with a traditional public house and its local Purbeck ciders.

A gated flight of steps leads up to the property with the light and airy accommodation being on two floors. Entering the first floor there is a kitchen with an electric hob and cooker, microwave and refrigerator with small freezer compartment, as well as a pleasant dining area. The large living area extends across the full width of the property boasting large windows which can be opened back to benefit from the sights and sounds of the sea just outside. This room is furnished with a comfortable sofa, chairs, TV/DVD. On this floor there is also a pleasant bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Stairs lead up to three attractive bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes - one of which has the added advantage of open sea views. The third bedroom is a pleasant bunk bedroom which also enjoys sea views.

There is off-road parking for one car within a few yards of the property.

Just enjoyed a fantastic holiday at seascape, the flat was amazing, everything you could want in it and a superb location. Lying in bed listening to the waves was amazing. So relaxing and I hope to return soon.

Fantastic property in Central location, yards from the beautiful beach, shops restaurants, pubs. Exactly as described. Parking for 1 small vehicle only as highlighted in the description. A little noise from nearby bar but not open that late. Really enjoyed our stay and would come back and recommend.

This is a comfortable flat in an ideal location for the beach and the town with wonderful views across Swanage Bay. The entrance to the property is fairly unpreposessing, being close to the dustbins and the back of the kitchen of Brook Tea Rooms. This apartment is in a prime location with superb views of the sea and access to the beach. A flight of external stone steps may present a challenge for some. At times it can be very noisy when people sit outside at night and talk loudly. The double glazed windows can counter-act this.

The cottage is perfect for the beach and the town. Well equipped and comfortable. The parking could be tricky for a large car as you have to squeeze past a bollard. A lovely restful week was had.

The location is fantastic, very close to all shops and restaurants. The lovely staff of the tea rooms below are very friendly and helpful. The views from the property are stunning, fantastic to just sit and watch the sea and the world go by. However some slight negative points. If you have a larger car the parking space is a bit tricky and tight. IRead moref you leave the window open in the rear bedroom your greeted by the smell of cooking from the tea rooms, and the emptying of the bins is very lou. Hide

We have had a very enjoyable 2 week holiday in this lovely holiday apartment. The views are amazing, waking up every morning to a seaview. Very Quiet/Peaceful. Some lovely restaurants :- The Black Swan, Salt Pig Too, Mckenzies and the Ship just to name a few. The Cellar Bar lovely ambience with sea views and the staff were very nice. Large and roomy flat in the heart of Swanage town with lovely views of the sea. The Brook Tea Rooms below are well worth a visit. Steps to the flat are steep. Car parking is an asset.

Lovely central location, near both the shops and seafront. House was large with comfortable beds and cozy living room, where we felt we could relax. There is no WiFi, so bare that in mind when booking, but some puzzles, books and dvds were provided to keep us entertained.

No Wi-Fi, washing machine, freezer or dishwasher, nowhere to hang towels for six adults. Entry up beside large cafe waste bins and heavy extractor fan smells at back of flat. No thermostatic control on shower in the only bathroom. Just worth putting up with for glorious view. New noisy bar next door in Mowlem only quiet after midnight twice a week.

Perfect. The view, the location and the facilities made for a brilliant holiday. Fresh milk in the fridge when we arrived, tea, coffee, sugar, even sandwich bags and a basket of Dorset treats! We have stayed at Seascape many times over the years. It is what it is. Since we were there last the furniture has been upgraded but some items in the kitchen I recognize from ten years ago. It remains a great place to stay. Very close to shops and pubs and a view to die for.

I don't believe there is ever a 'perfect' holiday apartment, however, Seascape was exactly as expected. You get exactly what is described, except the parking space, which is quite difficult to access. However, being a regular visitor and being fore warned I pre-booked parking in Broad Street car park.
