Situated in the traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth, this charming gated holiday complex contains a number of cosy cottages, converted from former farm buildings. The lovely Charmouth beach is within walking distance and the property's great location means the local pubs and shops are also just a short walk from your door, ideal for picking up the morning paper and more. A short drive or bus ride away is the wonderful town of Lyme Regis, which offers a beautiful unspoilt seafront with sheltered south-facing beaches and traditional deckchairs that line the promenade in the summer. The Jurassic coastline has been designated as England’s first Natural World Heritage Site and spans 95 miles of the Dorset and East Devon coastline, taking in some of the very finest walks and views available. There are many other attractions in the area including the charming resorts of Beer, Branscombe and numerous National Trust properties and gardens to name but a few.
On entering the spacious hallway you will find the welcoming open-plan lounge/diner off to the left, which is a light and airy room where you can relax on the sofas in front of the TV/DVD after a busy day. There is ample room around the dining table where you can enjoy leisurely meals with friends and family or plan your days out. The stylish kitchen is off to the right from the entrance hallway, which is well-equipped with an integrated oven and gas hob, microwave and dishwasher. A door from the kitchen leads to the useful adjoining utility room which has a washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. Also on the ground floor is a wet room and WC. Heading up to the first floor, you will find two comfy and bright bedrooms. Firstly there is a king-size room with a TV and an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath and WC, as well as a comfortable twin bedroom. Completing the first-floor is a bathroom offering a small bath and WC.
Stepping outside, you can relax at the end of the day in the private, enclosed patio area with garden furniture and enjoy al fresco drinks or meals. Guests are invited to enjoy the neighbouring holiday park which includes a shared, covered outdoor heated swimming pool (available during specific dates only and not available all year, please refer to the 'need to know' section for details), Char Valley Café which serves speciality teas and coffees and a shared outdoor children's play area. For a reduced charge and available to adults, is the well-equipped Char Valley Health Club, including a gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room.
Due to the current situation with Covid-19 the shared facilities advertised at this property will be unavailable during July 2020 initially and this is subject to change/extension due to any further lifting of Government restrictions.
