This beautiful, detached barn conversion is set in a tranquil rural setting amidst a working farm. Combining contemporary style with character features this is the ideal base for a relaxing holiday

Set just outside of the peaceful village of West Milton, this former farm building sits a short distance from the owner’s farmhouse, yet privacy is assured. Surrounded by acres of farmland, you can explore the verdant countryside surrounds or seek refreshments at the two local pubs within walking distance. Heading slightly further afield you will find the stunning Jurassic coastline, with a beach and rugged to clifftops to be admired in picturesque West Bay. A great choice of boutique shops and eateries can be found surrounding the harbour here, or head into the market town of Bridport with its eclectic mix of vintage shops and high street names.

From the unmade driveway a path leads from the raised parking area to the main entrance into this detached barn conversion. Once inside you are met with a generous utility room with space to leave your muddy boots after long walks in the countryside. Next you step into the light and airy lounge, which has views over the surrounding fields, beautiful original timbers and a Smart TV for those cosy evenings in. Leading on from here is a stylish double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC. Heading back into the lounge and through a fantastic original barn door you will find the kitchen/diner. With a vaulted ceiling and plenty of space for all the family, you can enjoy leisurely meals in comfort here. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric Range style double oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. From the lounge a staircase leads to the first floor. When the day is done take your pick from a pretty twin bedroom and a charming king-size bedroom, both of which share the contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside from the lounge or dining area you will find a patio that wraps around the barn with an area of lawn beyond. There is garden furniture ideal for lazy meals outside or simply settle down with a drink by the fire pit after a day spent exploring and soak up the peace and quiet. Many footpaths criss-cross over the organic dairy farm, from which you can explore the stunning landscape. To the side of the barn is an off-road parking area suitable for two cars.
