Lovely welcome from owner who lives next door. Eggs from her chickens and nice biscuits when we arrived. It was a shame that the local pub was being refurbished while we were there so weren't able to enjoy it. Can walk into Lyme Regis from house along country paths. Enjoyed our stay

Excellent property with very welcoming owners, Uplyme is a lovely area to stay just outside of Lyme Regis. Easy walk into town along the path along the River Lym. Overall the property was comfortable, spacious and well equipped Although our holiday was early in the season it was disappointing that the garden and decked area were not really useable. Thank you for a lovely weekend. The house was so comfortable and clean. It had every possible utensil in the kitchen and we really appreciated the fresh eggs and other goodies. You made us feel very welcome and we hope to return for a longer stay again one day.

A lovely place to stay local to Lyme Regis with beautiful views. It could be more child friendly, by having stair gates and children's cutlery/bowls/ cups etc. We had a few problems with the tv and DVD player not working very well- it took some time to sort each time.

The best cottage we have stayed at in many years of self-catering. The owners, who live next door, were friendly, helpful but unobtrusive. The level of equipment was outstanding and we liked the small practical details such as coat hooks on the back of doors. There were some nice touches on arrival such as wine, milk, eggs (from the owner's chickenRead mores!) and high quality biscuits. There is a huge selection of books and games. Lots of seats both indoors and out. Very highly recommmended! Hide
