With breathtaking views in every direction, you can’t help but feel inspired to get out and explore when staying at this cosy and stylish seaside cottage.

The beautiful property is perfect for couples wishing to get away from it all and spend time soaking up the tranquillity of the Dorset coast and countryside. You’ll be within easy reach of some fantastic coastal walks and cycle routes along the dramatic 95 miles of Jurassic Coast. Both Seatown and nearby Chideock lie in a nationally recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and, with their charming sandstone thatched cottages and superb sea views, you really will feel like you’ve stepped into a painting during your stay.

The cottage is set on one level and you enter through French doors into the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner, which benefits from fantastic countryside and sea views and has a feature wood burner (must not be used) and TV. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob and microwave so you can easily rustle up a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day or experiment with local ingredients you’ve picked up during your travels. The charming king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room with walk in shower.

Stepping outside the property you’ll be taken aback by the panoramic view. The raised decked area is the perfect place to sit back and take it all in whilst planning your next adventure or relaxing with a glass of wine after a long day. The outdoor furniture means it’s also easy for you to dine alfresco on a beautiful summer’s evening.

This was our second stay and this proves that we were delighted with our visits and hope to return. Beautiful location with fabulous walks from the doorstep and a couple of good pubs within walking distance.

Excellent accommodation with great views. Within easy walking distance of the coastal footpath and nearby bus stops if you want to leave your car at the property. Good local pubs nearby.

This is a lovely cottage, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and with a modern kitchen and bathroom. The icing on the cake is the location, joined to the owner's secluded property with large grounds and with views across countryside and the sea. A brilliant, relaxing stay, in a delightful property with such welcoming hosts. We were blessed with hot sunny weather. The location was tranquil with great views over land and sea; just what we needed after a winter of lockdown. Access via the narrow lane, is fine with good passing places. The drive to Down House Farm is far worse, though the creaRead morem tea was excellent. Tip- book ahead. To walk to the Golden Cap, turn right out of the drive and through Langton woods. Hide

Everything about the cottage and the environs was even better than the description on the website. Views were particularly spectacular. Great walks and lots of good food and refreshment nearby. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and spent a fantastic week there.

Very comfortable & well located accommodation - exactly as portrayed in the photographs. Lots of walking directly from the property - rather than walk along the very narrow lane to Chideock or down to Seatown take the field path, opposite the track leading to the property, which then leads to a bridleway - that way you can avoid the traffic! AbbotsRead morebury tropical gardens, Mapperton Gardens and Lyme Regis all worth visiting. Very good farmshop locally. Hide

Absolutely fabulous place. Stunning views down to the sea. Everything you need for a thoroughly relaxing break. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who live at the house attached to the annex. Mike popped by a couple of times to check everything was okay and pointed out some important landmarks - the pub rooftop being one of them! We really enjoyed our time at Little Seahill. Mike gave us a really warm welcome on the first day and was very friendly and helpful. The cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. You can walk to the Anchor pub in 5 minutes and there are amazing coastal walks nearby. The decking area outside is really nice and the sea views are great. Magnificent views in the heart of rural Dorset. Everything is provided for in a peaceful secluded cottage. The equipment and dcor were of quality. This cottage really lives up to the brochure - the location is perfect. Complete isolation if you want it or beach, restaurant and shop all within easy walking distance. The views from the cottage are wonderful, sea one way and lovely rolling hills the other. The cottage was very warm and comfortable and has been recently updated and redecorated. We understand the bathroom, which is quite good anyway, will shortly be updated and that will be a big improvement. There are glorious views from the property and lovely walks. The cottage was most cosy and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Seahill, and very much hope to return.
