Beautiful area, but a little far away from supermarket. It is not possible to go on foot te the pup: too dangerous to walk along the road in the evenings. So one needs to be realy prepared that it is very remote area.

We felt that the parking space at the cottage was small with only a narrow entrance. We just managed with a medium size car but a large vehicle would find it very difficult to negotiate the gates.

It had everything we needed. The cottage was very clean, well maintained and we were warmly welcomed. For somewhere to crash after a busy day visiting local attractions it was idea for the two of us.

I'd possibly recommend it, but its small size is better suited to a short break.

Lovely cosy cottage in a pretty area, once you find your way around it is centrally situated for places such as Shaftesbury, Sherborne, Yeovil, Dorchester, Poole, Monkey World, Longleat, Lyme Regis - which we can highly recommend. The cottage was a little smaller than we anticipated, but ideal for a base for travelling around. Our host Jackie was lRead moreovely and extremely helpful and knowledgeable and we had a most enjoyable time. Hide
