Enjoying a peaceful setting, this gorgeous property offers space, privacy and comfort for solo adventurers or couples looking for a romantic getaway surrounded by Dorset’s natural beauty.
With several pubs, restaurants and cafes within a mile or so of the property, you are spoilt for choice for appetising treats throughout the day. Pop into Weymouth, only 3.5 miles away, and wander the little streets, ducking in and out of shops to find a little souvenir to take home. Sandwiched between Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the West Dorset Heritage Coast, you can make the most of the abundance of scenic walks whilst never being far from a cup of tea.
Cross the gravel forecourt and open the front door. In the hallway, you can peel off your shoes and hang your coats on the coat stand, before making your way further inside. Designed using a quirky upside-down style, the hallway leads to a cosy double bedroom on one side and a separate bathroom with WC and walk-in shower on the other. There is a washing machine situated under the stairs. Upstairs, the living area with vaulted beam ceiling takes up the whole floor in an aesthetic, open-plan layout. Featuring a sofa, armchair and TV at one end, the other end is home to the kitchen. Fully equipped with an oven and electric hob, ice-box fridge, toaster and kettle, you can cook up a romantic meal for two at home before coming together around the dining table. Set between the kitchen and the lounge area, the dining table sits alongside a beautiful bay window and enjoys plenty of light and views over the garden. Turn on the TV for background entertainment or tune into the DAB radio.
Outside, a gravel area with small lawn is hugged by trees and lends itself nicely to picnics in the summer months.
