Set within a collection of four properties in idyllic countryside surrounds, this former dairy is perfectly located for exploring the many local attractions nearby including the historic village of Abbotsbury with its Swannary and Sub-tropical gardens, plus the vibrant towns of Bridport and Beaminster. From the property you can take one of the many walking and cycling routes that weave through this picturesque part of the county, taking in landmarks such as Pilsdon Pen and the Cerne Abbas Giant. The nearby village of Mosterton offers a shop and pub, or why not travel slightly further afield and take a trip to the stunning Jurassic coastline, with popular sites including West Bay and Lyme Regis being accessible by car.

A long gravel driveway leads to the properties and three steps lead from the shared courtyard into this terraced single storey property. Once inside you are met by a light and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasting an abundance of character features including exposed stonework and timber beams. If you can tear your eyes away from the lovely views, this is the ideal spot to settle down beside the wood burner with a good book or perhaps turn on your favourite programme on the Smart TV. The country style kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. A central breakfast bar is perfect for casual dining. Leading on from here you will find a beautiful king-size bedroom and contemporary en-suite shower room with shower and WC. With all of your comforts considered and more character features to be admired, you are sure to have a restful night’s sleep here.

Heading outside you can relax around the bistro table and chairs, this is the perfect spot for enjoying a drink outdoors or simply enjoying the view. There is also a further shared seating area with garden furniture and a BBQ, as well as a 2.5 acre paddock where guests can try to spot some of the local wildlife. There is off-road parking for two cars within the shared car park, approximately 10m from the property (unloading is possible directly outside of the property).

Lovely cottage, very comfortable with good facilities. We enjoyed the noise of the stream running by and the owls at night. Plenty of places to visit and the food and drinks at The Admiral Hood, Mosterton, were very good.

Just back from our second visit to Daisy at Buckham Mills. Simply wonderful. Quiet, relaxed, lots to do and see nearby so full days and relaxing nights. Owners have got the balance absolutely right and are there if and when you need them. Cottages are well equipped and beautifully decorated and a real home from home. We stayed in Daisy for the Easter weekend. It was just perfect. Everything we needed for a relaxing break in a beautiful setting with our own wildlife programme just outside, deer, birds of prey etc etc. Owners were very friendly and helpful pointing out some local beauty spots (which were stunning). A lovely, very comfortable cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome pack of teabags, coffee and biscuits, as well as some lovely daffodils. The wood burner was a real bonus. Another visit to Buckham Mill is definitely on the cards.

Both the area and the cottage are a perfect combination for a super, peaceful and relaxing holiday. The fact that we had beautiful weather was a bonus. We had a wonderful time and will be going back. The cottage has everything you need. The place was quite, relaxing and the owners could not do enough for you. Its the prefect place to de stress and get away from a hectic life. Our dog really enjoyed it as well. I cannot fault this place at all.

Excellent quiet location, close to Devon and Somerset and approximately an hour from most places in Dorset as far away as Bournemouth.
