Set along the picturesque Jurassic Coast, with the 19th-century Swanage Pier, Old Harry Rocks and Durlston Country Park and National Nature Reserve nearby, you needn’t stray too far at all. However, if you wish to, you can hop on the steam train at the local station to explore the Purbeck line or travel just 4 miles to arrive in the very heart of the picturesque Studland and Godlingston Heath National Nature Reserve home to dramatic cliffside views, sand dunes and a freshwater lagoon yearning to be explored.

Access the one-level second-floor apartment via a lift or stairs and make your way through the entrance hall into the open-plan lounge and dining area. The separate kitchen is compact yet complete with all the mod-cons you’ll need during your stay. Rustle up a homecooked meal before sitting down to appreciate it in the well-lit dining area. Apartment was clean, well equipped and comfortable, and for us was is an ideal location, a 10 min or so walk from the town centre and close to the south west coast path.Some may find the walk uphill a bit much, but there is a nearby bus stop.

A lovely, light and airy apartment. Well equipped with good quality utensils and a high standard of furnishing. It has lovely views from the French windows. Situation in Swanage is very good being a few minutes walk from the sea front but in a quiet residential location.

What a lovely clean cosy flat in a very quite area we had a lovely week every thing we needed was in the flat for our use we would certainly book to stay again at Ballards view when we return to Swange again

A lovely property, exceptionally clean and well equipped and the flowers and a welcome tray when we arrived was a lovely personal touch. Location is great, close to the beach and town centre and beautiful walks on your doorstep. Lots to do in the surrounding areas too. From our experiences I would highly recommend a visit.

This apartment is comfortable and in a good location. It is well equipped with a balcony which was extremely necessary in the very hot week that we had. The lift is useful when arriving and departing as carrying suitcases etc may prove arduous. The no50 bus which runs from Swanage to Bournemouth and back stopping off at numerous points along the coRead moreast is highly recommended. Lovely well equipped and clean apartment with views of the Downs. On the edge of Swanage and about 0.5 mile walk to centre though there are a couple of hotels, a nice pub and a local shop within a few hundred yards of the property. The hotels allow non residents for food and drink. A great place to stay. We enjoyed our visit very much and would staRead morey in this apartment again if we came back to Swanage. Hide

Very comfortable and well-equipped in a fairly quiet location. Convenient for walks along the coast path, and close to the town. In the evenings it was great to sit with the french doors open, looking over towards Ballard Down.

This is the second year we have stayed at this apartment. It is very clean and tidy. There is a lift that you can use if you have mobility problems. It is equipped with everything you need. Wonderful view from the balcony over the hills. A short walk downhill to the beach. About 10-15 minutes walk to the main shopping street. Lovely comfortable apartment in a quiet residential area within walking distance to coastal path, beach and town. Very well equipped for self catering and overall comfort. Milk, teas, fresh flowers, biscuits and message from the housekeeper were a welcoming touch on arrival. We wanted for nothing.

The apartment is spotlessly clean with everything you would need for your holiday. There were flowers , biscuits, tea bags, coffee and milk provided and a welcome card with housekeepers phone no and a Xmas card from owners. Lots of local info. Games , tv, DVDs radio.

The flat was just perfect for 2 people. Swanage and the area around gave us lots to do. The only niggle was the tight parking space but once mastered it was no problem.

This second floor apartment was immaculate. Could have just been built although I was advised by another tennant that it was 12 years old. Everything was provided, right down to milk in the fridge, lovely biscuits and a host of other nice touches, going above and beyond. The property has a lift, making it accessable to less able people.
