This charming converted farm building is located on the stunning Dorset coast within a gated holiday complex and is perfectly located for exploring the many beaches and walks the Jurassic coastline has to offer. Situated within the traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth, the property is just a short stroll from the amenities. From here, you can collect provisions for your stay or enjoy a hearty meal out. The Jurassic Coast, England’s first Natural World Heritage Site, spans 95 miles of the Dorset and East Devon coastline, taking in some of the very finest walks and views available. A short drive away, Lyme Regis offers an unspoilt seafront, fossil-rich beach and selection of boutique shops and cafes.

Inside, the property is modern and bright, with wooden flooring and plenty of natural light throughout. Prepare delicious meals in the kitchen/diner, which includes an integrated oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, together with a good-sized dining table. At the end of a long day exploring the coastline, relax and unwind in the cosy lounge, which overlooks the enclosed patio through French doors and features a TV and DVD player for cosy nights in. On the first floor are the two well-presented bedrooms, one king-size with a TV and one twin. The bedrooms share a bathroom on the first floor with an overhead shower and WC. There is also a further WC on the ground floor.

Heading outside is an enclosed patio area with a table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining or drinks. Guests are invited to enjoy the neighbouring holiday park which includes a shared, covered outdoor heated swimming pool (open during specific dates only and not available all year, please refer to the 'need to know' section for details), Char Valley coffee shop which serves teas, coffees, milk shakes, ice creams and biscuits, and a shared outdoor children's play area. For a reduced charge and available to adults, is the well-equipped Char Valley Health Club, including a gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room.

The pool is open 7 days a week in the main school summer holidays between 10am-5pm and closed for lunch. Details of the pool opening times outside of the summer school holiday period are available on request, please call for more information.

  • Health Club (available to over 18’s at an additional charge) and coffee shop - opening times are: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (closed for lunch), 9am-1pm Sat and Sun.

Lovely cottage and great to be able to park right outside. Well equipped kitchen. Nice big rooms. Just a short stroll to the nearest pub for food. Disappointing to have to pay extra for WIFI.

Lovely place to stay in Charmouth close to the beach and shops very clean and having a pool on site was a very welcome distraction staff were always friendly and polite.

A modern and roomy cottage with pretty much everything you could ask for and lots of storage (which makes a nice change). Location was ideal - within close proximity to the shops (although there aren't that many) and barely a 10 minute walk to the beach. Charmouth itself is small but perfect for a relaxing break. Whilst it wouldn't put me off returRead morening, the seagulls were the noisiest I have ever heard and were particularly vocal at 4am! Hide
